A Senior Autonomy Systems Engineer will work closely with their primary customer in developing autonomous capabilities and behaviors. They will establish feedback loops and insights on AV system, subsystem, and software performance, and inform/specify Autonomy architecture and requirements. The engineer will lead projects, balance competing requests, deliver usable products, and lead designs and integration across systems. They will also establish feedback loops and perform data analysis to drive design decisions. The role requires experience in developing and testing autonomous systems and proficient knowledge of C++, Python, SQL, and other relevant technologies.

Lead analysis and development of fault detection and response systems for autonomous vehicles. Collaborate with teams to establish safe and reliable systems. Manage design and implementation of fail-safe and degraded modes. Guide fault identification and deployment in software and hardware systems. Provide critical support for fleet issue resolution.

Contribute to cutting-edge motion planning systems with Machine Learning and optimization-based methods. Develop a variety of algorithms for planning for autonomous driving. Use your top-notch software development expertise to inspire others to develop better software practices and principles. Interface with perception and prediction components upstream and trajectory optimization and tracking & control components downstream.
