Investor Relations Specialist

We are seeking an Investor Relations Specialist for our Foster City Campus.

They will be part of a team of five contributing and executing a strategic Investor Relations program that is already recognized as best-in-class in biotech.  The specialist will play a critical role in delivering routine deliverables on a weekly and quarterly basis. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Compile analyst models to formulate internal view of analyst consensus.
  • Partner with members of the IR team to support the delivery of quarterly internal IR reports.
  • Contribute to quarterly external reporting materials including our earnings presentation, Q&A and other deliverables.
  • Contribute to weekly internal IR newsletter covering topics such as Gilead, broader biopharmaceutical industry, analyst research and macroeconomic dynamics.
  • Develop expertise in specific therapeutic area(s) and provide support on IR communications related to relevant scientific conferences and data updates.

Skillset:

  • Excellent attention to detail. Must be able to independently develop clear, concise, and error-free documents.
  • Expert in Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to understand and interpret financial statements and valuation models.
  • Ability to interpret analyst research reports and draft analysis.
  • Strong communication skills. Must be able to communicate project deadlines and competing priorities with team.

Specific Education and Experience

Requires a BA degree in Finance, Science, or relevant field and minimum of 4 years relevant experience or 2 years of relevant experience with a master’s degree.

The salary range for this position is: $109,650.00 - $141,900.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
