Job Portraits is a San Francisco-based employer branding studio. We support recruiting teams at startups. If you need to hire a lot of people, fast, we'll create culture-focused content about your team to help you market your job opportunities. This'll get candidates excited—or they'll quickly self-select out—and you'll have richer conversations with people who genuinely dig what you're building. Over the long-term you'll hire better people, faster, with fewer resources. Most often we collaborate with talent leaders, founders, and recruiters, and our work covers strategy, content creation (blog posts, videos, career pages, etc.) and campaign management. And sometimes folks throw the kitchen sink at us, which is where the real fun begins :) On our side, we’re set up for empathy: our team members are former startup founders, engineers, recruiters, and journalists. Before you stalk us elsewhere, a note: we didn’t set out to start an agency. Like our clients, our work springs from a mission; in our case, to widen access to meaningful work. Our approach amounts to ‘tell authentic stories’. No stock photos, no bluster, no plunky-music soundtracks.
