Flying Wisdom Studios (FWS), located in San Francisco, CA, is a client-focused software development studio that specializes in mobile and tablet app development since its founding in 2008. We are a full-service company with the ability to take a product from a one-sentence high concept all the way to product launch and beyond through extensive live operations. Founded by console industry veterans transitioning to mobile in the early days of smart phones, development is driven by our collective 50+ years in the entertainment software industry. We are known for our technical expertise and creativity, high-quality development, attention to detail, and the care and experience we apply to every project we execute. We pride ourselves equally on the creation of independently developed intellectual property as well as games created for global brands like Nickelodeon, Yahoo, National Geographic, Lady Gaga, Social Gaming Network, ngmoco:), Glu, and SONY to name a few. In the past five years we have shipped 25 apps in many different genres using multiple technologies: from educational applications for all ages to games in genres including racing, karaoke, 3D shooters, resource management games, and much more. FWS has also developed its own mobile app management platform to support the Games as a Service model, the Soaring Wisdom Platform, to support the many diverse technical needs that digital applications of all kinds require in today’s market where software capabilities and content must change continuously in response to consumer behavior patterns and market conditions. The Soaring Wisdom Platform is now supporting four games and is being used by Nickelodeon in their #1 portfolio mobile product: SpongeBob Moves In.
