Under the direction of a Manager, the Specialist I provides quality technology support to firm clients, ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction, timeliness, and consistency, in accordance with department policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service support to firm clients for Wipfli supported hardware and software issues of low to moderate complexity
- Resolves issues in accordance with Service Desk Procedures.
- Reviews and maintains documentation and knowledge base as directed or indicated according to firm policies and procedures.
- Acquires and maintains knowledge of client systems and support policies and procedures.
- Records all actions, communications, and resolutions for issues being investigated in appropriate systems according to firm policies and procedures.
- Escalates hardware and software issues per Service Desk policy.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Zero+ years of job-related experience
- Previous role in providing positive customer service
- Prior computer system experience including Windows Operating System and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Hardware maintenance and repair skills desired
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively
- Ability to balance many projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines
- Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions
- Ability to observe, think critically, and demonstrate a rational thought process and linear thinking
- Ability to know when to escalate or seek guidance on an issue or roadblock.
- Ability to obtain certifications or is working towards appropriate certifications.
- Proven written and verbal skills are very important for this position
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook

Wipfli supports equal pay for equal work and values each candidate's unique experiences and skill sets. The estimated pay range for this position is: $17 to $28/hour. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
