About The Role

The Mochi team is blitz-scaling. We need ambitious, self-directed recruiters to bring on dozens of new hires in roles ranging from engineering to clinical operations. Our recruiting process involves phone screens and takehomes with candidates from all over the country, working closely with both the candidates and our teams to provide a first class interview experience. This role is offered as either a fully remote or in-office position at our headquarters in San Francisco, however please note that benefits do differ between fully remote and onsite positions. If you have any questions during the interview process about the two options, don’t hesitate to ask.

What You’ll Do

  • Source high caliber candidates for targeted roles, recommending new tools and solutions to facilitate rapid talent acquisition.
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone screens, maintaining a steady flow of candidates and ensuring that communication is timely and professional.
  • Engage in specific, focused direct outreach to potential candidates on popular sourcing platforms.
  • Coordinate takehome projects, answer candidate questions and be a core facilitator for our interview processes.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from initial outreach to offer negotiation, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with Technical Hiring Managers to define hiring needs, develop job descriptions, and create effective recruitment strategies.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for key technical roles, anticipating business growth and future hiring needs.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, with at least 2 years focusing on senior or niche roles.
  • Experience recruiting for engineering (Frontend/Backend/Mobile Applications) or early-stage startups.
  • Demonstrated experience in full-cycle technical recruiting, preferably in high-growth tech environments.
  • Expertise in behavioral interviewing, competency-based assessments, and building structured interviewing processes.
  • Proven ability to fill complex technical roles (software engineers, product managers, data, etc.)
  • Familiarity with technical recruiting much preferred (Web/Mobile).
  • Organized yet flexible and willing to work in an extremely fast paced environment.
  • Ready and willing to work in-office five days a week.
  • Programming/scripting experience is a huge plus! (WebDev/Ex-Bootcamp/etc)

The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000, in addition to benefits. The salary range listed in each job posting represents the minimum and maximum targets for new hire salaries across all locations. Actual compensation within this range is determined by various factors, such as job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and location.
