- Translate customer requirements and operational expectations into product designs
- Own the system’s CONOPS and performance, functional, and interface requirements during external customer engagements, including gating design reviews, from concept to verification & validation
- Perform trade studies and leverage first principles thinking to make critical system level decisions
- Implement simulations and system engineering models to drive design decisions and performance requirements
- Define and drive adoption of processes to maintain parity between the design and implementation of software-defined, hardware-enabled systems
- Own the final delivery of systems engineering outputs of a cross-functional team
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, a relevant field, or equivalent experience

- Experienced in functional and requirements decomposition and utilizing a model based approach for system engineering
- Experience developing design or process documentation, managing software or electrical interfaces, maintaining system specifications, and developing verification plans
- Experience with a scripting language such as Python, MATLAB, or Julia, especially to conduct systems engineering analyses, risk assessments, or verification
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong experience taking systems from zero to one and tackling unique problems using first-principles thinking and systematic iteration
- Experience with uncrewed ground systems / autonomy, robotics or other complex system development programs
