ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril’s Land Systems team develops software for land-based manned and robotic ground systems, leveraging Anduril’s software infrastructure. The team is responsible for taking crewed and uncrewed ground systems from paper sketches to operational systems. We are looking for software engineers excited about fielding the next generation of software-defined ground combat systems. The software engineers will leverage technologies and tools including cloud computing, distributed simulation, and emerging digital engineering capabilities to enable the deployment, operation, and fleet management of autonomous systems.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • We are hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Deployment Software Engineer to design and build cloud infrastructure for the simulation, testing and deployment of software and hardware for uncrewed ground combat systems.
  • Work with a diverse team of systems engineers and software engineers to define and build a software-first integration, test and deployment environment for uncrewed ground combat systems.
  • Advance our platform tools & infrastructure to scale uncrewed systems faster and deploy software quickly and efficiently at a large scale.
  • Develop test automation frameworks: resource management and scheduling infrastructure, dashboard, user and admin utilities to support both deployment and system upgrade cycles.
  • Collaborate with team members and partners in the autonomy domain to build technologies and processes which enable users to safely and rapidly develop, deploy, and upgrade autonomous systems at scale.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • 4+ years of Industry experience in Full Stack Development and Kubernetes
  • Experience building scalable infrastructure and building scalable backend software systems with various data storage and processing requirements.
  • Experience with industry standard cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), CI/CD tools, and software infrastructure fundamentals (networking, security, distributed systems).
  • Proficiency with a variety of programming languages such as Rust, Go, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, etc.
  • High ownership and autonomy across the end-to-end lifecycle of software development.
  • Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have experience in deploying and managing large distributed applications (e.g. with Kubernetes and ArgoCD)
  • Experience designing and architecting complex software systems, and iterating upon designs via a technical design review process.
  • Familiarity with industry standard monitoring, logging, and data management tools and best practices.
  • A bias towards rapid delivery and iteration.

US Salary Range

$138,000$207,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
