The  is an individual contributor role responsible for managing and growing revenue and securing renewals for a defined set of current Sendbird customers. This role offers tremendous visibility within Sendbird’s executive leadership team, including frequently debriefing the C-staff. This highly complex sales effort combines solid business acumen with a need for a technical understanding to effectively convey the value of Sendbird’s suite of products to senior decision-makers.   • Manage a defined set of current Sendbird large-scale strategic customers, engaging in a continual selling effort to enhance the value of the Sendbird solution and expand revenue opportunities beyond the initial subscription business.
  • Self-source opportunities through meeting with your book of business on a quarterly basis to identify and accelerate cross-sell.
  • Focus on building relationships across various functions within the customer organization, including Product and Engineering.
  • Interact at both the senior executive and operational management levels to effectively convey the Sendbird value proposition and promote its use and adoption within the customer organization.
  • Manage multiple complex sales efforts in existing accounts simultaneously, supporting a renewal base of multiple millions of dollars in annual revenue.
  • Forecast business accurately and close both new and renewal revenue opportunities for Sendbird.
  • Articulate the Sendbird value proposition to senior business leaders based on a deep understanding of the Sendbird solution; solve problems promptly and efficiently by marshaling cross-functional Sendbird resources to address customer issues and concerns.
  • Ensure our customers realize significant value with Sendbird.

  • Successful and strategic technology sales experience and/or large account management experience, with a demonstrated track record of consistent over-achievement against assigned quotas.
  • Experience in selling a SaaS solution to Product and Engineering business segments.
  • Knowledge and experience managing a highly complex technology sales process.
  • The ability to sustain executive relationships and expand Sendbird’s footprint in strategic accounts

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location.  To determine our ranges, we utilize a variety of compensation data benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies.   A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role is $280,000 - $315,000 OTE.  This range is specific to the San Francisco Bay market.  We consider several factors when making final compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs which may cause your specific offer to vary from the amount listed above.

We offer a flexible work schedule at Sendbird.  We also value collaboration and relationship building.  With those values in mind, we require all employees within an hour's commute range of their local office to gather with their team in the office twice per week as a minimum.  Some of our roles require a more frequent in-office schedule.  Please work with your manager to understand the office time requirements for your position.
