Role Description
As a Staff Product Manager in Monetization you will play a crucial role in monetizing a greater portion of our existing free user base, driving new ARR growth and improving retention across our portfolio of premium solutions. This includes expanding the paid products we offer on mobile, evaluating new opportunities for long-term growth, and giving our users more opportunities to discover, try, and convert onto the paid products that best meet their needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead a range of Product and Growth initiatives and drive them to successful outcomes for our business and our customers.
- Own and be accountable for mobile revenue impact.
- Deeply understand the metrics and business drivers for new ARR, up-sell/cross-sell and retention for different customer segments.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners to understand and analyze relevant opportunities, industry trends, competition, and user needs.
- Generate business impact at a massive scale through rapid iteration and hypothesis-driven experimentation.
- Partner closely with teams across Dropbox to align development with cross-platform initiatives and growth.
- Work closely with our partnerships and legal team who manage our relationships with Apple and Google.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering highly successful and innovative software products, with a strong focus on growth.
- You have a growth mindset and enjoy making product changes that improve conversion rates.
- Experience in an iterative and data-informed product development culture is essential.
- Flawless product craft and business acumen; expert in balancing user and business impact.
- Shipped creative and successful products in B2B or consumer tech, involved in the end-to-end product process.
- Entrepreneurial drive with the ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
- Excels at communicating with teams, partners, and executives with clarity, salience, and urgency.
- Experience building products with subscription businesses that have multiple pricing tiers and/or products.
- Strong ability to crisply and clearly communicate product vision, objectives, and requirements to different audiences.
- Collaborating, coordinating, and influencing other product teams to achieve team and company objectives.
- Experience driving product growth across platforms.
- Understand of pricing & packaging fundamentals and pricing as a growth lever.
