Sr. Program Manager (Software Development, SAP)

This position is part of the Enterprise Project Management Office located in Coralville, Iowa. This is an on-site position based out of the Coralville, Iowa or Boulder, CO or Raleigh, NC or Redwood City, CA site. At IDT, we are one global team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead large programs that align directly with IDT’s strategic roadmap. Collaborate with IDT leadership to define business objectives for the program, define program success metrics and define projects that align with the program objectives. Programs may include software development, manufacturing innovation, process innovation and capacity expansion projects. They identify and resolve cross-project dependencies and facilitate communication between cross-functional teams. They ensure effective and efficient utilization of organization resources and deliver the intended business outcomes.
• Represent the program at governance meetings and ensure communication with IDT leadership is proactive, data based and action oriented. Build effective relationships and quickly earn the trust of key stakeholders and IDT Leadership.
• Manage all aspects of the program and work with project managers to oversee all phases of project completion. Manage scope to ensure program and project commitments are achieved within agreed on time, cost and quality. Manage program spending and validate financial forecasts. Manage program risks. Collect, analyze, evaluate and mitigate program risks and projects risks relevant at the program level. Manage cross project dependencies and ensure change management both organizationally and within the program. Partner with IDT Leadership to ensure realization/sustainment of project benefits (e.g. revenue, productivity)
• Motivate, coach, mentor and provide performance feedback for project managers and other key program team members. Project managers may report directly or indirectly to the Senior Program Manager. Provide oversight for any external resources contracted at the program level.
• Other duties as assigned

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree. Prefer in science, engineering or similar discipline.

• Prefer minimum of eight years project management experience with proven experience in Organizational Change Management and Software Development methodologies

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Project management certification
• Proven experience leading others through ambiguity, frequent change and effective decision making in both direct and indirect reporting structures
• Proven effective communication (written and verbal) across all levels in an organization

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
