We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join Niantic's Platform Go-To-Market team, working to transform the real world into a platform for XR experiences. We have an ambitious, human-centric vision for the future of spatial computing, where technology connects us to the people and places that matter (rather than separating us). If you're a creative and analytical product marketer who's searching for a career-defining opportunity and wants to make that vision a reality, you could be a great fit for this role.
Responsibilities
As our Senior Product Marketing Manager you'll lead GTM for consumer experiences that bring the immersive magic of real-world XR to life. You'll have the opportunity to broaden your repertoire by working on a first-of-its kind cross-device experience, including an HMD app. You will define our target segments and positioning, author our messaging, and develop cross-functional strategies to find, engage and retain users. You'll lead all aspects of delivering your marketing roadmap, and analyze tactics then iterate based on performance. This is a role with significant autonomy, and as such you'll also decide how to allocate budget to achieve your goals.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant marketing experience, including having been a senior contributor in a team that has launched and grown a top-tier game. It’s a plus if you've worked on a headset app, a creator-consumer platform or have category creation experience.
- Strategic operator. You excel in precisely identifying the highest impact opportunities and problems, designing plans to solve them, seeing plans through and iterating based on their performance.
- Strong project planning and management abilities. You naturally think several steps ahead to identify and mitigate risks, doing so across multiple work streams at once
- Startup mentality. You enjoy leaning into constraints with your tenacity, creativity and business nous. You get the basics right and work with urgency to achieve results, fast.
- Exceptional storyteller. You combine a precise command of language with a deep appreciation for Niantic’s products and goals to craft and convey effective messaging, internally and externally.
- Influential without authority. You combine authenticity, logic and empathy to build then leverage trust with colleagues.
- Pragmatic prioritization. You use your understanding of company goals and conviction on how to achieve those to make the best use of constrained resources.
- Open-minded. You appreciate the value of diverse opinions and are skilled at bringing them together to create better outcomes.
- An unfailingly consistent ownership mentality. Colleagues can rely on you completely to get the job done, no matter how complex it is.
