Job Summary

As the Senior Manager of Reliability, you will build and manage the reliability engineering team, ensuring the highest standards of reliability for our automotive semiconductor products. You will be responsible for developing and implementing reliability strategies, methodologies, and processes to enhance product performance and longevity. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to drive continuous improvement and innovation.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Build, lead and manage the reliability engineering team.
  2. Develop and implement comprehensive reliability strategies and methodologies (AEC-Q100 compliant) to ensure product quality will be adequate for automotive mission profiles.
  3. Conduct reliability testing and analysis, including failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), failure analysis, reliability prediction, and reliability stresses (including board level reliability).
  4. Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to identify and mitigate reliability risks during the product development lifecycle.
  5. Oversee the development and execution of reliability test plans, protocols, and reports.
  6. Monitor and analyze field performance data to identify reliability issues and drive corrective actions.
  7. Work with suppliers and external partners to ensure the reliability of components and materials.
  8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability processes, tools, and techniques.
  9. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  10. Prepare and present reliability reports and metrics.


Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. A master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in reliability engineering within the semiconductor industry.
  3. Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
  4. Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles, methodologies, and tools.
  5. Experience with reliability testing, failure analysis, and statistical analysis.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  9. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., JEDEC, IPC, ISO, AEC-Q100, BLR).
