We are looking for a QA Engineer who thrives on building reliable and high-quality web applications. As part of the web development team, this role focuses on ensu ing the functionality, performance, and robustness of customer-facing web portals. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Execution

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases derived from functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Execute manual tests to identify, document, and report defects effectively.

  • Prioritize and manage defects using the bug tracking system to ensure timely resolution.

Test Case Design

  • Design and implement robust test strategies, including unit, integration, system, and regression testing.

  • Develop clear, concise, and reusable test cases that cover edge cases and diverse scenarios.

Defect Tracking and Reporting

  • Document defects with precision, providing reproducible steps and relevant details.

  • Collaborate closely with development teams to investigate issues and drive their
    resolution.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices across all phases of the development lifecycle.

  • Proactively identify potential quality risks and recommend preventative measures.

Collaboration

  • Partner with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of requirements and expectations.

  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning to embed quality in every aspect of the product.

Optional Skills

Automation Testing

  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks.

  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining robust automation scripts.

  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript) and related testing
    frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

  • Hands-on experience in web application testing, including functional, non-functional, and usability testing.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with
    cross-functional teams.
