About the Role: 

This role will be dedicated to product reliability analytics, part of the Enterprise Product Analytics team, working with embedded teams and backend engineering teams. You will  will work directly and often with our embedded engineering team and backend engineering team. You will be responsible for:

  • Building out and maintaining reliability metrics and monitoring to be used in early alerting for issues occurring in the field.
  • Root cause analysis: Create scalable resources for problem solving. Create tools for support engineers to utilize. Monitor RMAs and complete new analysis as needed.
  • Establishing fundamentals and document for product reliability analytics

What You’ll Do: 

  • Own and lead analytic thought leadership for product reliability domain
  • Define and consistently own key engineering metrics. Be integral to the development of new metrics and work with engineering and product teams to improve the instrumentation of the product.
  • Own root cause analysis through data insights and a master of balancing complexity vs speed, being able to use different tools to solve problems.
  • Apply statistical reasoning to problems and metric definition to help identify anomalies in the field.
  • Be able to own presentations to an executive audience.

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, e.g. Computer Science, Math, Economics, or Statistics
  • 10+ years experience in quantitative field (data analysis, data science)
    • With a focus on physical hardware product analytics
  • Expert in SQL, python.
  • Very strong statistics, probability and quantitative reasoning
  • Experience in Hardware or software reliability analytics.

The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. For this role, the compensation range is:

United States

$116,000$177,000 USD
