What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Staff Product Manager to join our AI SIEM team. At SentinelOne, Singularity AI SIEM empowers organizations to ingest, normalize, analyze and take action on data from any source across the organization, enhancing the security posture.  Join us and be a part of one of SentinelOne’s fastest-growing product lines, contributing to the future of our Security AI platform.

In this role, you will own and execute the product strategy and adoption of OCSF (Open Cyber Security Framework) across all SentinelOne products as well as partner integrations. You will own and manage the entire lifecycle of the data schema, ensuring its seamless mapping and implementing governance practices that ensure data consistency and schema evolution. You will have a crucial role in shaping this roadmap, collaborating closely across the architects and PM teams within S1. This is a highly visible and hands-on Product Management position.

Additionally, you will play a key role in defining and executing the product strategy for SentinelOne’s Cloud Funnel solution, including leading the roadmap for replicating all data to cloud services such as Amazon S3.

Given collaboration with global teams across Engineering and Product, EST and CST based individuals are preferred for this opportunity.

What will you do?

  • Strategize and execute on the OCSF data schema: Lead the strategy and execution of the OCSF (Open Cybersecurity Framework) data schema across SentinelOne’s products and partner integrations. Define the roadmap for OCSF adoption, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and alignment with cybersecurity standards. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design seamless data mapping between SentinelOne’s applications and third-party solutions. Own the full lifecycle of the OCSF schema, from design to continuous improvement, working with engineering to implement updates and new features. Act as the central point of contact for all OCSF-related initiatives, coordinating across product management, engineering, data science, and security teams
  • Requirements Gathering: Working closely with internal teams, customers, and external partners to gather requirements. Develop comprehensive PRFAQs (Press Release Frequently Asked Questions) that outline the problem statement, customer value proposition, solution, and user experience, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams. Develop Strategy documents that clearly outlines where we need to play to win.
  • Technical Oversight: Collaborating with engineering teams to define technical requirements for validation of OCSF schemas and ensure that data mappings between SentinelOne's products and external tools comply with OCSF standards. You must have technical expertise and drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Drive data-driven decisions: Leverage data analytics and monitoring tools to gather actionable insights on the usage, performance, and effectiveness of OCSF schema implementations. Identify trends and potential areas for optimization in the schema mapping process.
  • Market Trends: Stay abreast of cybersecurity trends, particularly within emerging technologies, to ensure the Singularity Data Lake and AI SIEM remains at the forefront of innovation and relevance in the cybersecurity landscape.

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

  • Experience with designing and implementing data schemas, data mapping, and integration processes across security products is essential
  • At least 12 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years of experience; or equivalent directly relevant work experiences.
  • In-depth and hands-on knowledge of open source frameworks such as OCSF (Open Cyber Security Framework), OTel (Open Telemetry).
  • A deep understanding of how advanced AI models, including machine learning and natural language processing, can be applied to automate, optimize, and enhance the development and mapping of data schemas is highly desirable
  • Action-oriented mindset with a proven track record of balancing the delivery of long-term goals and short-term objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to properly translate and articulate positioning and requirements.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams in different time zones.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers in research, engineering, sales and product marketing.
