  • Actively manage Carta’s online communities, responding to comments, messages, and mentions swiftly and strategically.
  • Foster relationships with our social followers, customers, and industry influencers (startup founders, venture capital firms, and private equity leaders) as we launch a brand advocacy program.
  • Monitor online conversations about the brand, competitors, and industry trends, sharing insights with internal teams to inform marketing strategy.
  • Partner with marketing, community, events, and customer success teams to align messaging and campaigns.
  • Collaborates with the Office of the CEO to identify trendlines of social activity.
  • Work with customer success to optimize issue resolution on social media, establishing and maintaining an industry-standard SLA and establishing a triaging system.
  • Support launches, events, and initiatives through tailored social campaigns.
  • Track and analyze social media KPIs to measure success and ROI.
  • Monitor and measure trending brand conversations, sharing insights with internal teams.
  • Generate performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Schedule and publish engaging and on-brand content across Carta’s brand social channels on LinkedIn, X, Threads, YouTube, and Instagram.
  • Leverage analytics to inform content types, posting cadence, and campaign optimizations.

The Team You'll Work With

You’ll be joining our Marketing Communications team. As the Senior Specialist, Social Media Community, you’ll play a pivotal role on the Carta Communications team in shaping our online presence, driving engagement, and fostering a vibrant community of customers, partners, and industry leaders. You will report to our Senior Manager, Social Media and work cross-functionally to align content with marketing, product, and customer success goals, ensuring consistency and creativity across channels.

About You

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Social Media Community Manager or similar role recommended.
  • Experience managing social media communities for B2B or SaaS brands is highly desirable as is experience working for brands with multiple target audiences.
  • Some knowledge of private equity or venture capital is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Threads, and Instagram platforms, including trends and best practices. Interest in learning emerging platforms (i.e. Bluesky).
  • Proficient in social media management tools like SproutSocial (preferred) or Hootsuite, for community management, monitoring, reporting, and publishing.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into strategic decisions.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is: 

  • $102,000 - $120,000 in San Francisco, CA 

Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
