About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems. In this role you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our infrastructure and applications. This position is fully remote.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Build a resilient, secure, and efficient cloud based platform.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, management and incident response.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot platform issues.
  • Build and scale the technology infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demand.
  • Manage cross-functional requirements working with various company stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Development and QA to bring new features and services into production.
  • Develop and improve operational practices and procedures.


What We Look For:

  • 5+ years of production-level SRE/DevOps experience in a cloud based environment.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services.
  • Proficiency in programming / scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Experience with SQL Server databases and Windows Server environments.
  • Knowledge of Ansible (Chef / Puppet) or Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of systems, networks, troubleshooting techniques, automating build pipeline, and continuous integration.
  • Ability to operate in an agile, fast-paced, entrepreneurial start-up environment.
  • Experience providing SRE/DevOps support to development teams to help debug their Java applications is plus.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with other IaaS platforms.
  • Understanding of microservices environments and debugging/investigation techniques.
  • Knowledge of Spectrum (Shaw Systems).
