About the Role
Ontra is seeking a Senior Product Advisory Manager reporting to our Staff Product Advisory Manager on our Product Operations team.
We're looking for a transactional lawyer to serve as a subject matter expert and embed themselves within our Product organization to help develop new products and features, create comprehensive enablement materials, monitor relevant markets, and drive efficiencies to reduce onboarding costs. In other words, you will be the "client eye" that will help multiple stakeholders on the Product Team build the best legal tech products for the private funds industry.

What You'll Do
- Technical SME Consulting: Provide subject matter expertise for developing legal tech products, supporting multiple projects to ensure the development of best-in-class solutions
- Product Development: Engage in regular meetings with product managers, engineers and UX/UI designers to align on project goals, refine product features and provide expert advice
- Training & Enablement: Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for Ontra employees and legal network members to ensure effective use and understanding of products
- Discovery: Conduct discovery calls and attend industry events to gather customer insights and feedback for continuous product improvement
- Market Research: Monitor and analyze trends in legal tech, private funds markets, and big law to inform product strategy and development
- Efficiency Initiatives: Drive efficiency and reduce onboarding costs through pilots, new initiatives, and creative solutions integrating human expertise with technology
What You'll Bring
- Experience: 4+ years of transactional legal experience required
- Education: JD, LLM, or LLB required; US qualification preferred
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; experience in a customer-facing role preferred
- Interest in Technology: Demonstrated excitement and interest in technology to help further
- Organizational Skills: You exhibit organizational excellence and a high degree of ownership, including building new systems, problem-solving, teamwork, and results orientation

Pay TransparencyOntra takes individual candidate location, experience, and skills into consideration when determining compensation. The base pay range is listed below. Additionally, all positions are eligible for unit-based equity grants.
Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation, such as commission or other variable compensation structures, which is not included in the below base pay range.
