The Procurement Senior Manager will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the procurement of high-quality goods and services at the most competitive prices. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for the company.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supplier Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
    • Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contract terms.
    • Address and resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers.
  • Contract Negotiation:
    • Lead negotiations for contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
    • Ensure contracts align with company policies, legal requirements, and best practices.
    • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to review and finalize contracts.
  • Procurement Strategy:
    • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet company goals.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and industry trends.
    • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Cost Management:
    • Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings.
    • Implement cost-effective purchasing practices without compromising quality.
    • Track and report on cost savings and procurement metrics.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations, and production) to understand procurement needs.
    • Support product development teams by sourcing materials and services.
    • Provide procurement insights to inform business decisions and strategies.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
    • Manage procurement risks by identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.

  • An independent, self-motivated individual who works well under pressure with a positive, service-oriented attitude
  • Strong negotiator who has the ability to negotiate effectively to achieve the best possible pricing, terms, and conditions. Intellectually curious individual who is passionate about and can deliver value and achieve cost savings for the company
  • Strong communicator, both written & verbal; reliable and responsive to email, messenger, and phone communications
  • Analytical thinker who can analyze market trends, pricing structures and supplier performance data
  • Adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, business partners, and stakeholders, including having the ability to manage conflicts and foster a collaborative environment
  • Excellent multi-tasker who is always “on it” with stellar time and project management skills; understands the importance of planning in advance to meet deadlines that include multiple review points and iterations
  • Highest level of integrity and good judgment, with the ability to effectively deal with highly sensitive, confidential information

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and supplier management.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, market dynamics, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.

Annual Salary Guidelines: $140,000 - $160,000
