Airbyte is the open-source standard for EL(T). We enable data teams to replicate data from applications, APIs, and databases to data warehouses, lakes, and other destinations. We believe only an open-source approach can solve the problem of data integration, as it enables us to cover the long tail of integrations while enabling teams to adapt pre-built connectors to their needs.
So far, we've built over 350 connectors and have had 35,000+ companies replicating data with us. We've raised $181M from some of the world's top investors (Benchmark, Accel, Altimeter, Coatue, Y Combinator, etc.) and believe in product-led growth, where we build something awesome and let our product bring the users, rather than an outbound sales engine with cold calls.
Airbyte is remote friendly, with most of the team still based in Silicon Valley. We’re fully transparent as a company. Our company handbook, core values, methodology, strategy and roadmap are open to all.
If you find this role exciting, we encourage you to apply even if you think you don’t meet all requirements.
Opportunity
As our first Partner Manager, you will be responsible for building and scaling Airbyte’s partner network and strengthening our position in the modern data ecosystem. This is a high impact, high visibility role that reports to the Head of Business Development.
What You'll Do
- Build relationships and manage the day-to-day with our partners, including strategic tech partners and consulting partners.
- Identify and plan co-marketing and co-selling engagements with partner teams.
- Generate sales leads and opportunities through partner channels and identify opportunities for revenue growth — this isn’t a quota carrying role at this time, but it may be in the future, and is very much expected to contribute to the top line.
- Uncover ways to deepen our partnerships, strengthen our product, and drive more joint GTM opportunities.
- Work with internal and external teams to create content (such as blog posts, one pagers, diagrams, case studies, and sales playbooks) that highlights relevant use cases with partners and demonstrates our joint capabilities.
- Act as the liaison between our partners and our Product team, tracking potential feature improvements and communicating our roadmap effectively.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years in an external-facing professional role, in or adjacent to the tech industry.
- A demonstrated ability to build and grow partnerships.
- A demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and get stuff done.
- An established history of working closely with sales and marketing teams in competitive environments.
- Comfort with ambiguity. You are self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
- A sales mentality, even if you haven’t worked directly in a quota carrying role.
- Experience with B2B SaaS.
- A passion for continuous learning and improvement (both at a personal and team level).
- You share our values.
Bonus Points
- An understanding of data infrastructure and the modern data stack.

What We Do
We want to become the data integration (ELT, reverse-ETL, event streaming, etc.) standard that most companies use in the future. This implies that our open-source technology will support both ingestion to warehouses from any tool, database or SaaS, and distribution of data to any SaaS tools.
On top of that, we will build data quality monitoring, privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.), and enterprise features (role access/management, SSO, etc.).
You should be able to build your own ELT platform internally, while having complete control over your data and costs (not indexed on MTUs). If any integration that you need is missing, we will make it super easy for you to build it and to use our orchestration and scheduling features for it.
We will stay at parity with the incumbent’s features (Fivetran, StitchData) at first (see our [high-level roadmap](https://go.airbyte.com/roadmap)), as our differentiation is on:
- open source, enabling you to add your own integration very easily and customize any pre-built one;
- data privacy and control; and
- volume-based pricing
