The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team, supporting customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of vegetable seeds to growers. This role involves coordinating with various departments such as logistics, warehouse, and other administration staff to ensure the growers orders are delivered fast and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support
  • Assist the sales team with daily inquiries, order taking, status updates, and expediting.
  • Work with the credit department on behalf of the sales team to ensure customers stay current.
  • Work daily in JDE to enter orders and provide comments.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing information about products, pricing, and availability.
  • Work with the sales team on customer complaints and concerns, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Order Processing:
  • Process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the system.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to manage stock replenishment.
  • Sales Coordination:
  • Participate in SOP and Area sales meetings to discuss the business and highlight opportunities to improve on fulfilling sales orders.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams (sales, management, wareshouse, etc.) to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as distributors and growers, to facilitate smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • 3 years experience with JDE Oracle
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or a similar role, preferably in the agricultural sector.
  • Seed experience highly desireable
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of the agricultural industry, particularly in vegetable seeds, is a plus.
