Meter builds better internet infrastructure. We make it exceptionally easy for any business to have great computer networking, internet, and Wi-Fi. Businesses of all sizes and industries increasingly rely on internet infrastructure for daily operations, yet getting connected today is incredibly difficult. To solve this problem, Meter builds and manages a vertically integrated solution across hardware, software, and operations. We believe people who build hardware and software should be the ones responsible for it. Our ambition is to evolve internet infrastructure into a utility.

This role is critical to Meter's success

We are hiring someone to lead technical recruiting as we grow existing engineering teams and build new ones. We’re early in building Meter’s engineering organization with foundational teams in place across Software Applications, Firmware, Hardware, Operations, QA, Support, and Wireless. The organization is at an inflection point as we embark on the most significant phase of growth, yet, for the business. 

This role is a unique opportunity to hire the teams responsible for building Meter’s definitive networking stack—integrated hardware, software, and operations—to power global packet transfer. The caliber of engineering talent we hire during this phase of growth will be incredibly consequential to Meter’s long term success.

This role is based out of our San Francisco HQ office. 

You will have an impact by

• Designing and scaling methods for finding, attracting, evaluating and closing world-class engineering talent
• Enabling hiring managers with the training, tools, and tactics to consistently and reliably hire exceptional talent
• Serving as a standard bearer of Meter’s cultural pillars of Kindness and Ambition with hiring teams and external talent

Compensation

We think about Meter's compensation package as a combination of salary, equity, benefits, and the experience of working with a talented team to make the biggest impact of your career. 

• The estimated pay range for this role is $125,000 - $180,000. 
• Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan.

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the Bay Area. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors such as your skills, qualifications and experience.
