The Role
We’re looking for a QA Engineer I to join our team as we work on building and releasing innovative EdTech products. In this role, you’ll assist in developing and executing manual test cases, contribute to the documentation of testing strategies, and support senior QA engineers in creating automated tests. You will play an essential role in ensuring product quality throughout the development lifecycle. This position is part of the Quality Assurance Engineering Team, which promotes best practices across the organization and ensures the highest quality standards in all product releases. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute tests for new and existing features
- Provide feedback and insight from a quality assurance standpoint on new features in development
- Assist in identifying, reproducing, and prioritizing issues reported by consumers
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and developers to understand software requirements
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing to ensure that the software operates as expected in the production environment
- Automate testing of our products and help shape our CI/CD pipelines
Who You Are
- 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or related fields
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like TestRail or Qase
- Basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies
- Good communication skills for documenting and reporting bugs
- Must have the ability to prioritize and process requests from multiple stakeholders in a timely manner
- Must be comfortable working in the scrum process
- Must have attention to detail
- Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, basic knowledge of automation tools

The typical base salary range for this position is $65,000 - 75,000 per year. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay for this position and your pay will be determined by a variety of factors, including your primary work location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
