Technical Product Manager
The Technical Product Manager for Madison Reed will be responsible for leading the definition and design of Madison Reed’s core infrastructure, including product catalogue, e-commerce platform, and API library. The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for building a Core Technology product strategy by conducting domain analysis and working with Digital Product and other teams in order to drive initiatives to support the overall business.
The Technical Product Manager will be involved in reviewing, analyzing and evaluating business systems and user needs. Your core responsibilities will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes and user requirements, defining scope and objectives, formulating systems to parallel overall business strategies, performing user acceptance testing, and keeping teams on task.
What you will do:
- Perform requirements analysis.
- Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement.
- Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions
- Document functional requirements, defining scope and objectives
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams
- Present project initiatives to upper-level management communicating the financial and operational impact of any changes
- Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Perform user acceptance testing.
- Work with management to prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions
Who you are:
- Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience required.
- Proficiency managing multiple stakeholder relationships & expectations. Prioritization of stakeholder requests, providing end to end delivery including launch.
- Strong communication, documentation and project management skills. Ability to work as part of a team, build internal relationships. Work collaboratively to determine acceptable solutions.
- Exceptional analytical, process improvement & conceptual/big picture thinking skills. Experienced in creating detailed reports and presentations.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proven track record of leading and supporting successful projects.
- Advanced technical/systems skills including Software Design, Software Maintenance & Scrum/Agile Management.
- Ability to work well under pressure, demonstrating problem solving & critical thinking skills.
