Job Description
Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!
Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.
Where and how you can work
Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a hub in San Francisco, which is now home to our US operations. We offer flexibility in how and where you work. We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.
What you'd be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Own and drive the overall Print Marketing strategy and execution, overseeing efforts across PMM, Lifecycle, Brand, and other Marketing teams.
  • Lead user and revenue growth initiatives for Print Marketing.
  • Collaborate closely with the Print Leadership team to develop a cohesive Growth and Marketing strategy across Product and Marketing.
  • Build a strategic roadmap for long-term goal setting and execution across all channels.
  • Support regional partners by aligning channel strategies and articulating holistic performance marketing approaches.
  • Provide strategic insights on emerging trends and category developments that impact marketing and performance channels.
  • Identify and communicate cross-functional opportunities to enhance performance through creative development, landing page testing, and ad tech improvements.
  • Act as a key marketing team member by fostering collaboration across channels to maximise impact.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendor partners.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to explore new channels, audiences, and ad formats efficiently.
  • Work closely with data teams to enhance reporting capabilities and share insights across teams.
  • Support the evolution of measurement models and assess budget allocation across channels to optimise returns.
  • Partner with finance teams to manage the performance marketing budget, set forecasts, and track financial performance.

You're probably a match if

  • 8+ years of experience building and managing high-performing marketing programs across multiple channels, including search, social, display, programmatic, mobile, lifecycle, PMM, and Brand.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute holistic marketing strategies by leveraging both quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator with the ability to drive alignment, communicate effectively, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data, synthesise key learnings, and effectively communicate insights across teams.
  • Deep understanding of the customer journey and how marketing can maximise impact across channels and global markets.
  • Experience managing large budgets with a track record of scaling channel spend while maintaining efficiency guardrails.
  • Strong testing mindset, with a passion for uncovering insights that drive more effective customer acquisition.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively while engaging with a wide range of senior stakeholders.
  • Naturally curious and proactive self-starter, comfortable taking measured risks to drive innovation and growth.
