We're looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our People Ops team at Kikoff!

In this role, you'll help create a positive employee experience that keeps our team running smoothly. From assisting with onboarding to supporting various HR processes, you'll be a key player in maintaining our team's day-to-day operations and fostering a great work environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Hit the ground running by developing a mind-blowing onboarding program that gets new hires fired up and ready to make their mark from day one.

  • Provide administrative support for various HR processes, including benefits administration, leave management, and employee record-keeping.

  • Partner with managers and new hires to build out 30-60-90 day plans and create a virtuous feedback cycle with our talent team.

  • Respond to employee inquiries and assist with basic HR-related questions and requests.

  • Collect and organize employee feedback and engagement data to help identify areas for improvement.

  • Support additional People Operations processes as needed, such as recruitment administration and HR reporting

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing great customer service to employees.

  • Basic understanding of HR practices and eagerness to learn more about people operations.

  • Ability to think critically and apply first principles thinking to identify when and why certain practices are most effective, and when alternative approaches may be more suitable for our unique context.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the EQ to initiate and navigate hard conversations

  • A bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in the HR world, with a track record of excelling in performance management and employee development goals.

  • An HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) or desire to obtain one within first year.

Our salary ranges are determined by role and experience:

90K - 130K base + equity
