This role offers significant ownership and active involvement in developing enterprise products for life sciences companies. If you thrive on tackling technical challenges and enjoy mentoring others, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

About Us

Join our core product development team, serving clients in the Life Sciences Industry. We work on a combination of:

  • Existing Products: Lead the growth, scaling, and expansion of our proven market offerings.
  • Client Configurations: Utilize our expertise and modules to meet specific client needs.

About You

As a seasoned software architect with extensive hands-on experience in full stack development using .NET, you are looking for a role that offers significant ownership and active involvement in developing enterprise products for life sciences companies. You thrive on tackling technical challenges such as:

When a product lead presents a feature idea or a customer issue, you excel at understanding the objectives, brainstorming solutions, and either implementing them yourself or guiding a team member through the process.

While you prefer to work primarily as an individual contributor, you also enjoy mentoring and teaching other developers. You provide detailed, forward-looking code reviews with a high standard for quality, and you write your own code efficiently, proactively addressing potential issues.

With a can-do attitude, you embrace new challenges, even those outside your current expertise. Your diverse background and passion for continuous innovation drive your success.

Responsibilities

  • Full Stack Development: Engage in both front-end and back-end development, utilizing technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js).
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, ensuring best practices in designing, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.
  • Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to architectural standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the development process and product quality.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, technical specifications, and user guides.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on .NET technologies and full stack development.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in .NET framework, ASP.NET, C#, and related technologies. Strong experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js). Knowledge of database design and management (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL). Experience with RESTful API design and development and other methods of integrating with 3rd party systems and services. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience working with Gitlab. Experience with DevOps processes and tools. Experience in web application security. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Leadership and mentoring abilities. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges as they come.

Why Join Us?

  • Impactful Work: Contribute to the development of products that make a difference in the Life Sciences Industry.
  • Growth Opportunities: Take on a senior individual contributor role with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.
  • Innovative Environment: Work on cutting-edge technologies and tackle challenging technical problems.
