Assembled is a Support Operations platform that helps companies maintain exceptional customer experiences.
The Role
Join a special group at Assembled to build community engagement programs, sponsor events, and create impactful strategies. Drive full-funnel community activities, develop field marketing strategies, and build connections with customer advocates.
Summary Generated by Built In

Assembled is building software to transform and elevate customer support teams, which often represent 20-50% of the people at a company. Our workforce management platform helps some of the fastest-growing, most innovative companies in the world—including Stripe, Etsy, and Robinhood—to schedule, forecast, and organize their support teams. We’ve raised $70m in funding from the likes of NEA, Emergence Capital, and Stripe itself. You’ll be joining a special group of people who learned the ropes at companies like Stripe, Google, Atlassian, Twitter, Airbnb, Looker, NEA, Bain, and more.

Assembled is seeking a skilled and experienced Marketing Operations multi-sport athlete to join our team. This role is crucial in enhancing our marketing and go-to-market (GTM) processes and in scaling our growth engine. Reporting to our Head of Demand Generation, you’ll be the key player in our full-funnel strategy; in other words, you’ll be the missing piece we need in place before pressing the gas pedal! Take note that this won’t be your average Marketing Ops role, as we’re looking for that rare candidate looking for an experience that values both subject matter expertise as well as generalist instincts. This means you’ll get to play in nearly every part of the GTM sandbox, working closely with Sales, Finance, Biz Ops, and other stakeholders around the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the strategic voice and advocate for where we need to scale and when we need to scale back with action-oriented analysis on all things demand gen.
  • Own our marketing technology stack and maintain and optimize existing systems used to generate, distribute, and report on our funnel (and implement new technologies based on the evolving needs of the team!)
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data management strategy, ensuring accurate and current information for leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities for effective segmentation and personalization.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards for funnel performance and marketing-sourced opportunity and pipeline creation by segment, campaign, and channel.
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes to ensure best practices in campaign and lead management for inbound and outbound marketing.
  • Support campaign operations execution including campaign creation architecture, lead management and routing, list creation, and segmentation.
  • Provide training and support to marketing team members on marketing automation platforms, processes, and best practices to ensure alignment and proficiency.

About you:

  • Relevant experience in sales-led, B2B marketing (ideally within SaaS)
  • Proficient in Hubspot and Salesforce, and familiar with 6sense, Outreach, Chilipiper, and Google Analytics
  • Data-driven with strong quantitative and analytical skills and think in terms of LTV, ROI and impact on the bottom line of the business
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration to drive action, gather insights, and gain alignment on business objectives
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects independently
  • Comfortable and energized operating in a fast-moving organization
  • Enthusiastic about efficiency, process, and data
  • Intellectually curious and ambitious

The estimated base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $160,000 per year. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options are provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

Our U.S. benefits
  • Generous medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • Paid company holidays, sick time, and unlimited time off
  • Monthly credits to spend on each: professional development, general wellness, Assembled customers, commuting and community-support agriculture (CSA)
  • Paid parental leave
  • Hybrid work model with catered lunches everyday (M-F), snacks, and beverages in our SF & NY offices
  • 401(k) plan enrollment

What We Do

We’re on a mission to solve the operational challenges that come after the big idea. By using technology to overcome delays, inefficiency, and bureaucracy, we can improve the critical products and services that underpin our day-to-day lives. Starting with customer support, we’re empowering individuals to do uniquely human things like apply judgment, make decisions, and bridge the gap between vision and reality.

Why Work With Us

We’re a diversely talented group of people — but if there’s one thing you’ll never catch us tripping over, it’s our egos. We show up for ourselves, each other, and the teams we’re building for with empathy, humility, and a bold vision for the kind of future that we’re actively co-creating.
