At Salesloft, our Manager of Revenue Systems - Tech Lead is pivotal to our company’s success.  You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing Strategy and Operations team and will lead generating, scoping, solutioning, and executing process and efficiency improvement efforts across revenue-focused systems. You will have a passionate, capable team supporting you.  

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for the integration, development, and architecture of Salesforce and all related revenue systems. You need to see the big picture, and future state but have a keen eye for details. You need to have pride in your work and a passion for solving big business challenges. Specifically, you will:

  • Own pursuit of a simplified, lasting GTM architecture to withstand our fast growth
  • Collaborate with key business leaders to provide a leading-edge technology experience for our internal Lofters and customers
  • Drive an efficient requirements gathering, solution development process, and deliver tested solutions that exceed expectations 
  • Have the vision and experience to confidently deliver scalable solutions

To thrive in this role, you will need to develop strong relationships with Product Owners and Revenue Systems team members. You will constantly be developing your team’s skills - utilizing best practice systems engineering methods, providing expert technical guidance for systems initiatives, and ensuring logical conversion of customer requirements and performance requirements into total systems solutions.

THE TEAM:

Salesloft’s Strategy and Operations team is comprised of seasoned and up-and-coming operational experts who are all aligned on one vision and mission:

  • Mission: Equip companies to maximize revenue by creating a fantastic buying experience

The Strategy and Operations team consists of team members that work with Sales, Marketing, Customer Services, Finance, and IT creating systems to more efficiently prospect, forecast, close, onboard, and support customers. Team members conceptualize the strategic priorities for the company, develop plans for execution, execute plans cross-functionally, and operationalize executed strategies for continuous improvement. 

THE SKILL SET:

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 5-7 years of experience with Business Systems, GTM Systems, or technical roles within Revenue Operations
  • Experience leading the architecture, administration, and development of integrated systems throughout a GTM (lead-to-revenue) tech stack
  • Salesforce Administrator certification and 4+ years of administering/developing Salesforce or leading Salesforce administration/development
  • Strong experience with advanced Salesforce components: custom Apex triggers, CPQ+, Service Cloud, Communities, Knowledge, Visualforce pages, and complex flows
  • Experience with custom system integrations, custom API development, and middleware platforms (i.e. Workato, Tray.io, Boomi, etc)
  • Experience with DevOps tools (i.e. Gearset) - metadata deployments, CI/CD pipelines, testing
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage within an Agile framework
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Sales Consultant, CPQ, Platform App Builder, and Developer certifications are a plus
  • Self-starting and focused on personal growth
  • Leadership and project management experience
  • Experience with Salesloft is a plus
  • ERP experience is a plus
  • CPQ experience is a plus (Steelbrick)

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:

  • Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique 
  • Join our 3-week Sales Bootcamp, where you will learn our software and all the skills necessary to set you up for success, allowing you to make an impact in the market quickly
  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan, meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team, and delve into your territory 
  • Begin 1:1s with your team, learning their strengths, career goals, areas for opportunity, and how to best utilize the collective team to create business outcomes
  • Set your MOaTs (Metrics, Objectives, and Tactics) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  • Become an expert in our CRM and all Lead to Renewals systems through training, self-study, and shadowing
  • Have a high-level understanding of the high-level architecture and interaction for the lead-to-revenue systems

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Lead the development and execution of process and efficiency improvement efforts across revenue-focused systems
  • Own roll-outs of all system changes and implementations into the CRM including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, training, and documentation
  • Deeply understand key Salesforce integrations: ERP, CLM, Data Warehouse, Customer Provisioning 
  • Be able to articulate the paths of key lead-to-revenue data flows through the system architecture: Customer, Revenue, Provisioning, and Billing information

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Become the technical subject matter expert for Salesforce (objects, integrations, processes, workflow), our middleware platform, and any related systems
  • Continue to focus on your OKRs

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Become a resource both internally and externally for anyone trying to understand how we have created a highly efficient lead-to-renewal tech stack
  • Own the roadmap for internal Salesforce, and related systems, architecture development
