As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, guiding the development of innovative, scalable solutions while ensuring best practices are followed. You will be responsible for managing the technical and operational aspects of the team, driving project execution, and fostering a collaborative environment where engineers can thrive.
Your role will be to translate business requirements into technical strategies, balancing the need for short-term results with long-term architectural vision. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to deliver high-quality products that meet business objectives.
This position requires strong spring boot, Java, Hibernate & MySQL technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to navigate the challenges of managing a fast-paced, evolving engineering team. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction and success of the organization.

- Drive company-wide initiatives on some combination of software architecture, testing infrastructure, reliability, and/or software design.
- Tackle increasingly bigger and more complex challenges as the company grows and do the best work of your career so far.
- Challenge the status quo, think about how we make better products more efficiently.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, helping them grow professionally and technically.
- Collaborate with PM & Design team to define project scope and deliverables.
- Drive technical execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to quality standards.
- Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide feedback.
- Maintain and improve development processes to increase team productivity and efficiency.
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best practices into the team's workflow.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 or more years of experience building scalable systems
- 5 or more years of programming experience and system architecture
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical discipline
- Strong leadership skills to get things done by challenging the status quo and making decisions in a fast-moving, rapidly changing environment
- Proven experience coaching and mentoring engineers
- Strong technical background in making long-term architectural decisions and trade-offs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills working with stakeholders and domain experts across the company to design solutions to user problems
The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
