As a Product Designer at Lumos, you will play a crucial role in shaping and defining the unique user experience that sets our company apart from others in the space. At Lumos, user experience is not just an afterthought; it is a key part of our business strategy and what differentiates us from outdated, user-unfriendly tools.

In this role, you will work closely with the CEO and other key stakeholders to understand the needs and perspectives of our users, and use this insight to create a seamless, intuitive experience for our customers. You will also play a key role in shaping the direction of our design organization as we continue to grow and evolve. ✨ Your Role

  • Design Execution: Lead the design of products from concept to launch, ensuring that all designs are delivered on time and meet quality standards. This includes creating detailed project plans, prototyping, user testing, and working closely with developers to ensure that designs are implemented correctly.
  • Visual Design Excellence: Create visually stunning and intuitive designs that delight our customers and drive business success. We highly value attention to detail and a clear understanding of visual design and communication-design principles.
  • Customer Obsession: Understand and anticipate customer needs and design products that exceed their expectations. This includes conducting user research, analyzing customer feedback and data, and incorporating customer insights into the design process.
  • Deep Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to ensure that designs are aligned with business goals and technical feasibility. This includes communicating design concepts and ideas clearly and effectively, and working as part of a team to solve complex design challenges.

💰Pay Range

  • $145,000 - $210,000. Note that this range is a good faith estimate of likely pay for this role; upon hire, the pay may differ due to skill and/or level of experience.
