Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic roadmap of Lyft’s People Technology, including improving our leverage of existing systems such as Workday (including Workday Extend), Greenhouse, and reporting and analytics platforms including Qualtrics.
- Partner with various teams and stakeholders to define, develop and manage a comprehensive People Technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives and supports Lyft’s strategic priorities.
- Operate the current and future technology portfolio, including our SaaS and in house built applications that supports the People team during each stage of the employee life cycle.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of People Technology and initiatives, while providing regular updates to senior management.
- Lead a diverse People Technology team consisting of analysts, specialists and software developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and consultants to support People Technology initiatives, including technology vendors, implementation partners, and industry experts.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in People Technology, and bring innovative solutions to Lyft.
Experience:
- BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 8 years of leadership experience and 5 years of technical management in a global, public, or large private technology company with a global customer base.
- Comprehensive understanding of people processes, systems, and regulations, with expertise in areas such as people reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
- Previous experience with implementing and operating People Technology solutions such as HCM (e.g., Workday), ATS (e.g., Greenhouse), and development platforms (e.g. Workday Extend).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and influence decision-making.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners, vendors, and consultants within the finance and technology industry.

Starting in September 2023, this role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
The expected range of pay for this position in the San Francisco area is $188,000 - $235,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
