About the Role:

Demandbase is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join our dynamic finance team. You will report to the Head of Corporate FP&A. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial modeling and strategic analysis — preferably within SaaS, investment, or consulting environments. You’ll play a key role in supporting leadership with accurate forecasting and actionable insights to drive profitability, efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

The base compensation range for this position for candidates in the SF Bay Area is: $103,000 - $155,000. For all other locations, the base compensation range is based on the primary work location of the candidate as our ranges are location specific. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skillset, years of experience, and depth of experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the consolidation of financial forecasts across all three financial statements — P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
  • Own global headcount reporting and analytics, including regular updates for leadership and close collaboration with the People and Recruiting teams
  • Manage hosting and COGS-related costs across multiple vendors in partnership with the Cloud Engineering team
  • Partner with Accounting to deliver accurate monthly and quarterly expense forecast, ensuring alignment with financial close processes
  • Collaborate with Procurement on PO approvals, data integrity, and assessing impacts on expense and cash forecasts
  • Work with Real Estate and Facilities teams on office planning, openings, and budgeting
  • Drive the annual planning process and manage ongoing Budget vs. Actuals (BvA) analysis
  • Support the preparation and consolidation of financials for board materials and executive-level presentations
  • Serve as the system owner for the financial planning tool, ensuring it is used consistently, efficiently, and effectively across the FP&A team

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in FP&A, management consulting, investment banking, or a related analytical role with 5 years of experience or more
  • Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Excel — comfortable building and enhancing models to support complex business decisions
  • Excellent communication skills — able to confidently present insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the business
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and the metrics that drive them
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple priorities, and bring forward ideas that drive continuous improvement
  • Someone who’s excited to play a key role in shaping strategic financial decisions and contributing to a high-impact, collaborative team

Benefits:

We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and financial security. Our employees enjoy up to 100% paid premiums for Medical and Vision coverage, ensuring access to top-tier care for you and your loved ones. In addition, we provide a range of mental wellness resources, including access to Modern Health, to help support your emotional well-being. We believe in a healthy work-life harmony, which is why we offer a flexible PTO policy, 15 paid holidays in 2025—including a three-day break around July 4th and a full week off for Thanksgiving—and No Internal Meetings Fridays to give you uninterrupted time to focus on what matters most. For your financial future, we offer a competitive 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, and other valuable benefits to ensure your financial peace of mind.

At Demandbase, we believe in creating a workplace culture that values and celebrates diversity in all its forms. We recognize that everyone brings unique experiences, perspectives, and identities to the table, and we are committed to building a community where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported.
