General Description: 

We are seeking a candidate to conduct low-noise electrical measurements of semiconductor spin qubit devices at cryogenic temperatures. 


Essential Duties: 

Perform hands-on work on mechanical and electrical systems and components.

Acquire and analyze electrical device characterization data using various software platforms in conjunction with a relational database system. 

Troubleshoot, resolve, and optimize test characterization process. This includes developing and improving novel measurement systems, test procedures, and software. 

Analyze data as well as organize, update, and summarize results. 

The position requires frequent technical communication with team members, including oral and written reporting. 

 

Required Skills: 

Possess problem solving skills, good mechanical aptitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with others and individually.

Function safely in a cryogenic laboratory environment performing assembly, integration, test, and troubleshooting tasks.

Have familiarity with analog and digital electrical circuits, experience with coding and data analysis.

 

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, applied physics, or equivalent experience.


Special Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.


Compensation:

The base salary range for this full-time position $76,530 - $93,320 + bonus + benefits.
