As a key leader in the Strategy & Office of the CEO team, you will combine deep strategic thinking with executional excellence, owning the full lifecycle from market analysis to executive-level recommendations. This role is pivotal in accelerating LogicMonitor’s growth and positioning the company for long-term success.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

Develop & Drive M&A Strategy

  • Build and own LogicMonitor’s M&A strategy and framework, identifying acquisition opportunities aligned with corporate priorities.
  • Develop and maintain a target pipeline of potential acquisitions, assessing strategic fit, financial impact, and synergy potential.
  • Lead end-to-end deal execution, including opportunity evaluation, business case development, financial modeling, due diligence, and executive decision support.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Product teams to assess risks, integration challenges, and deal structuring.
  • Track competitive M&A activity and industry consolidation trends to drive proactive acquisition strategies.

Develop a Strategic Partnerships Roadmap

  • Define and execute a partnerships strategy to accelerate growth through technology alliances, GTM collaborations, and ecosystem expansion.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend strategic partnerships in adjacent technology areas, industry verticals, and channel ecosystems.
  • Develop business cases for key partnerships, ensuring alignment with LogicMonitor’s GTM and product strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally to operationalize partnerships, measuring success through joint revenue opportunities, ecosystem engagement, and product integrations.

Identify Inorganic Growth Opportunities

  • Conduct market analysis to uncover new revenue streams across adjacent markets, industry segments, and geographic expansions.
  • Develop frameworks for “build vs. buy vs. partner” decisions, ensuring investments align with corporate growth objectives.
  • Assess new distribution channels, GTM motions, and industry-specific offerings to expand LogicMonitor’s total addressable market (TAM).
  • Build quantitative models to measure the potential impact of market entry strategies and M&A initiatives.

Present Strategic Recommendations to Executive Leadership

  • Develop executive-level business cases with data-driven insights and strategic rationale.
  • Create and deliver high-impact presentations to C-suite and board-level stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on M&A pipeline, partnership strategy, and inorganic growth opportunities.
  • Influence executive decision-making by translating complex market insights into actionable strategies.
What You'll Need:
  • 10+ years in corporate strategy, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or strategy consulting.
  • Proven track record of leading M&A strategy and deal execution in a high-growth enterprise SaaS or technology company.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise SaaS, cloud, IT infrastructure, observability, or adjacent B2B markets.
  • Experience building and executing M&A strategies, including target identification, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiation and post-merger integration.
  • Strong understanding of deal structuring, valuation methodologies, and synergy realization.
  • Experience in identifying and evaluating new markets, industries, and growth opportunities.
  • Ability to develop frameworks to assess inorganic growth opportunities through acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic market entry.
  • Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to present complex strategies in a compelling, data-driven manner.
  • Experience engaging with C-level stakeholders and board members on high-stakes strategic decisions and ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive strategic alignment and execution.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating clarity in rapidly evolving business environments.
  • Self-starter with a bias for action, capable of managing multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously.
  • Hands-on builder who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to execute.
  • Strong analytical skills, including TAM/SAM analysis, competitive intelligence, and financial modeling.
