What You'll Do:

As the Sr. Director, Business Application Delivery, reporting to the CIO, you will create, staff and drive multiple Business Application teams to create value for different cross functional departments. You will be accountable for understanding business requirements, assisting in software selection and vendor selection, staffing, budgeting, working with your teams to create implementation plans, timelines and coordination for development, testing and release of applications, training users, and providing thought leadership for all business application solutions to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations. You will develop strong trust based cross-functional stakeholder relations.

You will build teams of specialists to provide application development and administration services for the department specific software that covers areas such as CRM, CPQ, RFQ, MRP, HR, Customer Experience, and Finance. You will provide oversight, mentoring and guidance on complex issues where multiple business processes must flow together seamlessly between business systems. You will drive integrations between systems to implement business process workflows that are auditable, scalable and secure. You will own the source data quality for business applications. You will establish uptime SLAs and implement proper support protocols.

  • Provide subject matter expertise for all aspects of the business applications you manage.
  • Analyze and report key metrics to demonstrate the business value of investments in these applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and manage SLAs, ensuring customer expectations are met through multi-tier support and uptime monitoring.
  • Negotiate and manage software licensing, engagement, and support contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities for enhancing business process workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor teams by fostering a collaborative, stable, and cohesive work environment.
  • Monitor industry and market trends to guide strategic decision-making and proactively address challenges.
  • Develop and communicate a clear application roadmap that aligns with business functions and adapts to emerging requirements.
  • Establish and enforce standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and reliability of applications.
  • Forge long-term strategic partnerships with departmental leaders by understanding their challenges and opportunities, aligning team strategy with company-wide objectives.
What You'll Need:
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
  • 13-15+ years of IT experience, including demonstrated success in progressively broadening architecture and technology leadership
  • Expertise with managing application development at scale (delivery)
  • A good understanding of software development life cycle methodologies including Agile and Scrum (both)
  • Experience with leading and coordinating cross-functional initiatives, conducting interviews and performing analyses to create business cases for projects
  • Experience using Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira) for project management; strong project management skills
  • Experience in budget planning for projects
  • Experience using Salesforce Core, CPQ, Billing and E1 Experience, Netsuite, AI 
  • Must have strong communication, presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and people who have strong opinions
  • Must have strong leadership skills, and collaboration skills with the ability to lead large projects autonomously
  • Exhibits a high level of initiative and integrity and is empathetic to the needs of individuals across the organization
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Self-starter who’s comfortable with ambiguity, asking questions, being resourceful to resolve issues, and adept at shifting priorities
  • Strong customer service skills with proven service mentality
  • Strong in documenting business processes and communicating system requirements

Compensation packages at LogicMonitor for eligible roles include base salary, a variable plan depending on role, along with comprehensive benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary target for new hires in the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. LogicMonitor employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. The Base Salary range for this role is:

$205,380$245,000 USD
