Job Description Summary: We are seeking an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Partner to drive the successful adoption and integration of strategic initiatives and transformational projects across the organization. The OCM Partner will collaborate with leadership, project teams, and employees to ensure smooth transitions through change processes, fostering a culture of resilience and agility. This role will play a key part in developing and implementing OCM strategies for the Global Supply Chain Organization that align with business objectives, promote sustainable change and adoption.  

The GSC E&S team plays a key role in our Supply Chain function by supporting the adoption of change as a result of GSC impacted initiatives such as SAP roll out, maintenance of changes to existing SAP, planning systems changes and enhancements, Business process improvements etc 

 

This position is responsible for creating and executing change strategies, establishing governance frameworks, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring effective communication, training, and feedback mechanisms. You will also serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing guidance on communication strategies, leadership principles, and stakeholder management. Additionally, you will contribute to building a best-in-class change management practice within the organization by sharing tools, templates, and mentorship with fellow team members. The position demands a high level of cross functional collaboration and will set the vision for OCM needed for GSC, in partnership with the business 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Change Strategy Development & Framework: 

  • Partner with leadership and project teams to understand the scope, objectives, and  

  • impact of changes. 

  • Develop and implement tailored change management strategies that address the human side of transformation, ensuring employee buy-in and successful adoption. 

  • Establish an integrated GSC E&S monthly business review framework 

  • Develop Vision and mission aligned with GSC, PDM and Gilead’s vision and mission 

  • Develop and implement roadmap to evolve the OCM service whilst utilizing best in class benchmarking, maturity assessment and action plans to evolve 

  • Collaborate across Gilead OCM teams, creating, participating and engaging in a Community of Practice to share learnings, best practice and latest trends 

OCM activities 

The following OCM activities may apply - depending on the level of service support required for an initiative: 

  • Apply a structured methodology by leveraging a change management methodology, to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required 

  • Support communication and training efforts 

  • Assess the change impacts and manage strategy for change  

  • Enable the design, development, delivery and management of key communications 

  • Utilize best practice CM Framework to address common challenges such as resistance to change, stakeholder management, Technology integration, communication gaps, and supply chain disruptions 

  • Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics 

  • Create change management plans that align with Project Management plan 

  • Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities 

  • Track and report issues 

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: 

  • Identify key stakeholders and build strong relationships to act as change champions and advocates across various levels of the organization. 

  • Create and deliver clear, consistent communication materials that highlight the benefits, expectations, and impacts of changes. 

Training and Support: 

  • Design and facilitate training programs, workshops, and resources to help employees navigate change and develop the necessary skills and mindsets. 

  • Provide ongoing support to employees, managers, and teams as they adjust to new systems, processes, and technologies. 

Change Impact Analysis: 

  • Conduct assessments to identify the organizational, cultural, and behavioral impacts of changes. 

  • Continuously monitor the progress of change initiatives and adjust strategies as needed to address resistance or gaps. 

Culture and Leadership Alignment: 

  • Work with leaders to strengthen change leadership capabilities, ensuring they understand their role in guiding teams through change. 

  • Foster a positive organizational culture that embraces change as an opportunity for growth and improvement. 

Measurement & Continuous Improvement: 

  • Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of change management efforts. 

  • Regularly evaluate the success of change initiatives, identifying lessons learned and making recommendations for future improvements. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • High school and 16 years of organizational change management experience, OR Associates degree and 14 years of organizational change management experience, OR Bachelor's degree and 12 years of change management experience.

  • Proven experience in leading or supporting organizational change initiatives (3-5 years preferred). 

  • 5+ years experience as a Change Manager, managing end to end change with in-depth knowledge of Supply Chain processes or a business function within Biopharma industry.  

  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter’s 8-Step). 

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organization. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations and develop innovative solutions. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certification in Organizational Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP). 

  • Experience with large-scale transformations, digital or technology-enabled changes. 

  • Understanding of employee engagement and culture-building strategies. 

  • Project Management and Lean Six Sigma qualifications a plus 

  • Master’s degree and/or professional qualifications in supply chain management a plu 

  • Masters degree

 


 

The salary range for this position is: $210,375.00 - $272,250.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
