The Role: 

The Director of Business Systems will oversee and optimize the company's internal business systems and technology infrastructure to support key business operations. This position plays a pivotal cross functional role in aligning go to market, finance, operations, and other functions to ensure that business systems are effective, scalable, and secure. You will lead cross-functional teams in the design, implementation, and management of business systems that improve operational efficiency, drive data-driven decision-making, and support business growth. Operating as a player/coach this position will be a strategic and hands on leader, charged with optimizing internal software expenses, leading cross functional planning, and executing detailed coding/scripting work across a diverse range of technologies.

Requirements

· Priority knowledge: Middleware (Celio), ability to work with a in house custom built solutions (i.e. Customer Portal), Customer payments processing solutions (Stripe, etc.), and ERPs (NetSuite and Zoho), salesforce.com 

· Experience with administering/managing bank feeds, go to market and operational software would be a plus 

· 8+ years of experience in business systems management, IT strategy, or operations, with a proven track record of leadership in a software or technology-driven environment. 

· 3+ years of experience managing a team of IT professionals or business systems experts. 

· Extensive experience with enterprise systems such as ERP (e.g., NetSuite), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), HRIS, financial management, and related tools

Responsibilities

· Oversee a cohesive strategy for all internal systems, with the exception of those that are specifically leveraged exclusively by the Product & Technology team 

· Manage the Order to Cash technology workflow, including customer invoicing, payments processing, and cash application of payments 

· Ensure internal software functions with high quality and reliability 

· Ensure internal software integrations function in a value added manner, addressing integration issues as required 

· Ensure flawless execution of customer payments technology (Stripe, etc) and maintain PCI compliance 

· Incrementally improve ERP functionality (NetSuite & Zoho), charting a path towards ERP consolidation 

· Implement new software as required to support go to market and financial activities 

· Reduce software customizations to reduce administrative and maintenance burden 

· Achieve software spend reduction goals 

· Proven success simplifying and unstacking internal systems 

· Technical support/system admin for a diverse software set which currently has heavy reliance on custom built APIs and scripts

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with job posting disclosure requirements. 

Pay range: $140,000 - $160,000 Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operations business needs. 

Depending on the position, compensation may also include commission, bonuses, etc. Potential for bonuses is based on company performance and potential for merit increases is based on performance.
