By building the operating system for every dental office in America, Dandy is empowering dentists with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practice, their people, and their patients.

About the Role
We seek an experienced and dynamic Director of Business Systems to lead the development, management, and optimization of our core business systems, focusing on NetSuite and Salesforce. The ideal candidate will bring significant expertise in NetSuite (ideally including building and implementing), especially in inventory management, and deep knowledge of Salesforce. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the systems align with business objectives, drive efficiencies, and scale with company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee NetSuite's administration, enhancement, and continuous improvement, particularly for inventory management, order-to-cash processes, and financial integrations.

  • Oversee Salesforce's development, customization, and integration, working closely with cross-functional teams to support revenue operations.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (Sales, Operations, Finance, IT) to identify and implement solutions that optimize business processes and improve system performance.

  • Manage and mentor a team of business systems analysts and administrators, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused environment. This includes building our internal Netsuite team.

  • Drive the development and execution of system roadmaps, ensuring alignment with broader strategies.

  • Monitor system performance, conduct risk assessments, and implement best practices for system security and uptime.

  • Lead and manage projects related to system implementations, enhancements, and migrations, ensuring timely delivery and effective change management.

  • Provide executive-level reporting on system performance, project progress, and critical metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing business systems with a primary focus on NetSuite and Salesforce.

  • Extensive experience with NetSuite, specifically in inventory management, financial modules, and integrations with third-party systems.

  • Strong background in Salesforce administration, customization, and integration with other business systems.

  • Proven leadership and second-line management experience, with the ability to lead a cross-functional team.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives.

  • Experience in the venture-backed/startup/tech space, with a track record of being agile.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with NetSuite Advanced Inventory, SuiteScript, or SuiteFlow.

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder) are a plus.

  • Knowledge of other business systems such as Looker, Jira, or Zendesk is a plus.

For full time positions, we offer a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits including healthcare, dental, parental planning, mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
