As a Customer Marketing Manager, you’ll build and execute impactful strategies to elevate Gong’s brand by amplifying customer voices and driving loyalty and engagement. Reporting the Head of Customer Marketing, you’ll own key programs—including customer storytelling, lifecycle advocacy, strategic references, reviews, and referral management—that support go-to-market success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute scalable advocacy programs for lifecycle advocacy, strategic customer references, reviews, and referrals, engaging customers and enhancing brand loyalty.
- Align program objectives with broader company and marketing goals, maximizing the impact of customer stories and proof to demonstrate Gong’s category leadership
- Own the end-to-end strategy for customer engagement, identifying high-impact advocates to share their stories across various channels and programs.
- Manage and optimize the referral program, driving customer engagement and ensuring high satisfaction among advocates.
- Curate and develop compelling customer stories and testimonials to support content, sales, and product initiatives, aligning with Gong’s strategic messaging.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer success teams to identify and leverage customer advocates, ensuring smooth integration of advocacy efforts.
- Regularly track, report, and improve advocacy metrics to measure success, continuously refining programs to achieve desired results
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in customer marketing, advocacy, or related roles, with a proven track record of managing customer marketing programs.
- Demonstrated experience in executive customer relationships, customer storytelling or advocacy programs for B2B companies.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and collaborate across teams effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting compelling customer narratives.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a customer-focused mindset.

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $125,000 - $157,000 USD.
Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
