As the Compensation Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing expert guidance on all things compensation while acting as a strategic business partner. In this exciting position, you’ll help shape and enhance key programs that directly impact the employee experience at Billtrust. You will also drive innovation by managing our Reward & Recognition programs and overseeing annual benchmark cycles to ensure Billtrust remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.

What You'll Do:

  • Work hand-in-hand with Talent Business Partners to guide client management through organizational structure development, job design, and all related challenges.
  • Provide vital support to our Recruitment teams, ensuring that our pay practices align with Billtrust’s competitive philosophy and industry-leading standards.
  • Be the go-to expert for all total rewards-related initiatives, programs, and requests across the organization.
  • Drive key projects to evaluate and align positions and job levels within Billtrust’s job architecture framework, supporting career development and shaping succession planning.
  • Assist in administering Billtrust’s salary ranges, external benchmarks, job levels, and titles, ensuring alignment with our competitive compensation structure.
  • Play a central role in driving the annual and mid-year compensation planning process from start to finish.
  • Oversee the administration of our Short Term and Long Term Incentive Plans, ensuring they are optimized for success.
  • Ensure timely participation in salary surveys, and continuously evaluate new sources of market data to keep us aligned with global best practices.
  • Manage and update compensation databases, ensuring integrity while proactively recommending system enhancements.
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of impactful compensation training and presentations for employees, recruiters, and Talent Business Partners.

What You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years of well-rounded Compensation experience in a fast-growing organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to influence and guide senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to consult with key partners and deliver insights that are actionable and aligned with business needs.
  • Deep knowledge of competitive compensation practices, job evaluation methodologies, and the design of compensation structures.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for working as part of a high-performing team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, while keeping the big picture in mind.
  • Experience in the Technology or Fin-Tech industry is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with equity compensation and/or stock plan administration is a bonus.
  • Relevant certifications like CCP, CBP, GRP, and/or CEBS are a plus.

The expected base salary range for this position is $80,000-$105,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses. Further details will be provided by our Talent Acquisition team during the interview process.
