The Chief of Staff to the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Media & Lyft Business will play a critical role in supporting the team in leading our emerging media business and business-to-business ventures. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Chief of Staff will act as a trusted advisor and partner to the EVP and the Media & Business leadership team, ensuring alignment with Lyft's overall business objectives and mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Support: Assist the EVP in developing and executing comprehensive strategies for Lyft media and business-to-business initiatives that align with our company’s mission and objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the EVP's organization, ensuring efficient workflow and communication across teams.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage special projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including key partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data-driven insights to support decision-making processes and optimize business performance.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation across key functions and business units.
  • Communication: Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and communications on behalf of the EVP, ensuring clarity and alignment with strategic objectives.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive and proven experience in a strategic or operational leadership role partnering with C-level executives, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Financial Acumen; experience analyzing pricing strategies, ad inventory, and sales processes to ensure the business is achieving its financial goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Customer-obsessed mindset, with a passion for creating delightful and valuable experiences.
  • Experience in the advertising or technology industry is a plus.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid

The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $180K - $230K. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
