OVERVIEW
This position is based in our San Francisco office.
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Sales team. In this position you will play an integral role in our Sales motion by driving outbound sales campaigns.
We are looking for an energetic and hardworking individual who is excited to continue their career in software sales. As part of your role you will work closely with the Account Executive team. You will have the unique opportunity to drive our outbound sales motion within Mid Market and Enterprise accounts.
To be successful in this role you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to create highly customized outbound messaging, be passionate about doing deep research on companies, consider yourself to be a self-starter and curious about Fintech and payments.

REQUIREMENTS

1 - 2 years of experience as a BDR or other outbound sales role

A track record of driving consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement

Experience working with Outreach and Salesforce or other CRM platforms

Superior verbal and written communication, presentation and relationship management skills

Ability to create highly customized outbound messaging clearly communicating Modern Treasury’s platform to both Technical audience and Finance teams

BA or BS required
WEEK BY WEEK
During your first week you will:

Onboard with our team

Develop an understanding of our customers and the problems we solve

Review supporting collateral for use in our sales cycle

Develop an understanding of our brand positioning, sales process and customer engagement

Familiarize yourself with our infrastructure and tooling
During your first six weeks you will:

Join prospect and customer conversations to better understand our value proposition, buyer personas and product-market fit

Begin to take ownership of the growth of a specific territory while working closely with an Account Executive

Create strategies to feed sales qualified leads to your team
During your first six months you will:

Independently prioritize, manage and develop your outbound opportunity pipeline

Achieve or exceed your monthly outbound sales qualified lead quota

Communicate customer needs and requirements to our Product, Growth and Sales teams to inform our product roadmap and competitive positioning
