Please note: This position requires working out of our NYC office 3x a week at 60 Madison Ave.

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for building and maintaining an excellent working relationship with our Marketing and Account Executives. This position will be a major change agent at Spring Health, having impact and influence with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility. The ideal candidate enjoys testing and learning to ultimately become an effective seller and leader. In addition, we are seeking creative and passionate individuals eager to develop their skill sets to be successful long term in their careers who believe in honesty and transparency.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Help develop outreach strategy, content, in-bound lead process, and development programs for the BDR team 
  • Prospect into Fortune 1000 companies and other employers through a combination of email, phone call, and other sales channels
  • Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executive using Spring Health’s qualification criteria
  • Provide accurate lead distribution and thorough discovery to the assigned Account Executive
  • Develop all of the critical skills to accelerate a successful career in Sales

  • You achieve your targets for qualified meetings and opportunities pipeline as set out for each quarter.
  • You successfully complete all assigned trainings and continuously improve your sales skills.
  • You collaborate effectively with your team, leaders, and cross-functional peers to drive success.
  • You demonstrate persistence and creativity in reaching decision-makers and generating interest in Spring Health.
  • You proactively seek feedback and opportunities for improvement to refine your outreach strategies and tactics.

What we expect from you:

  • You have 3-12 months of professional or internship experience
  • You have a desire to be a creative prospector, working with traditional tools (email, cold calling) and experimenting with new technologies
  • You are highly coachable and invested in your professional growth, development, and career path
  • You are data-driven in measuring and improving the impact of your outreach efforts
  • You are organized, attentive to detail, and believe that great process leads to great results
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are able to work out of our NYC office 3x a week

The target salary for this position is $66,500 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, variable commission ($92,500 at performance to goal), and additional opportunity for incentives and bonuses for performance beyond goals. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
