About the Role:

Our Finance team drives financial accuracy and strategic insights across the company, ensuring informed decision-making and operational excellence. As an Operational Accounting Analyst, you will perform precise and timely accounting tasks critical to maintaining our financial integrity and supporting business objectives. Collaborating across departments, you will deliver high-quality outputs that contribute to our mission of operational efficiency and financial excellence. This would be a hybrid position in our San Francisco HQ Office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.


What You’ll Do: 

  • Prepare journal entries for cash transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform monthly accruals for operating expenses in collaboration with departments to capture financial obligations promptly.
  • Record and manage corporate credit card expenses, ensuring adherence to company policies and timely reconciliation.
  • Manage monthly amortization of prepaid expenses and fixed assets.
  • Maintain and update monthly financial packages supporting schedules.
  • Assist in general ledger reconciliations and support audit requests.


What We Look For:

  • 1-3 years of relevant operational accounting experience.
  • Team-player with excellent interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating with accounting, business, and management teams.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail in performing accounting tasks and ensuring accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP.


Nice to Have:

  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software/ERP; experience with Netsuite, Brex, FloQast is a plus.

The compensation range of this position in San Francisco, CA is USD $70,000 - $85,000 annually plus equity and benefits. Within this range, an individual's base pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
