The Demand Analyst position is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products. Maintains forecast models for their customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, customer replenishment analysts, and other sources.
This role is the integration point into the sales and supplier organization. Basic forecast modeling is the responsibility of this position. This position leads the dialogue each month for their respective customers and products with key counterparts in Sales and Asset Management.
What You'll Be Doing:

  • Interpret demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated customer assumptions
  • Interact with sales, material planning, asset management and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers
  • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts
  • Use the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool. Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning
  • Using analytic visualization tools, conducts analysis to determine if there are service or performance enhancements required to evolving engagements or existing supply chain engagements and present analysis and recommendations to requestors and management
  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience

What We Are Looking For:

  • Typically requires 5-7 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience in supply chain, planning and operations functions within supply chain
  • Analytical
  • Someone who is a self-motivated go-getter is required
  • Driven by a continuous improvement mindset
  • Familiarity with manufacturing business model (Bills of material, production planning, etc)
  • Familiarity with distribution business model
  • Possess a core understanding of demand planning


Work Arrangement:
Fully Remote: Must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by Arrow leadership.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$89,300.00 - $99,000.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.

Remote work employees may be required to be present at the closest designated Arrow office for work-related purposes, at the Company's request and sole discretion.
