What you'd be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product marketers, fostering professional growth, collaboration, and excellence.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct customer, market, and competitive research to identify customer needs, market trends, and opportunities for growth.
- Product Influence: Influence the product roadmap by providing market insights and feedback from customers to the product management team, ensuring that product development aligns with market demands and opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure alignment across business goals
- Messaging & Positioning: Own the development and maintenance of compelling messaging and positioning, ensuring consistency across all channels and materials.
- Content Development: Lead / support the creation of high-impact marketing collateral, including white papers, case studies, product videos, webinars, and sales enablement tools.
- Strategic Enablement: Work with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure our internal teams are enabled and that content reaches the right audiences.
You're probably a match if
- You have 5+ years of product marketing or solutions marketing experience. Since this is a senior role, your prior direct experience is essential.
- You may also have experience in business consulting, product management, or marketing, which would be a plus, though not required.
- You have 1+ years of experience managing and coaching individual contributors.
- You have demonstrated success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for B2B SaaS products.
- You possess exceptional communication skills, allowing you to translate technical features into clear benefits for a broad audience.
- You excel at building strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders.
- You can identify and understand trends in the market, competitors, and user needs across multiple segments.
- You have the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong prioritization skills.

The B2B product marketing team is on a mission to empower businesses to achieve their goals through Canva's world-class products and tools. We do this by helping bring solutions, products, and integrations to market and driving continuous engagement and adoption across our array of existing products.

The target salary range for this position is $149,000 - $230,000 . When calculating offers, we make salary decisions based on market data and candidates' skills and experience.
