Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workday Test Lead to oversee the testing lifecycle for Workday implementations, updates, and integrations. The ideal candidate will lead test planning, design, execution, and reporting efforts while ensuring the quality and functionality of Workday modules align with business requirements. This role requires strong expertise in Workday functionality, testing methodologies, and team collaboration.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and schedules for Workday implementations and upgrades.
- Define the scope, objectives, and criteria for successful testing.
- Lead test case development, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
- Coordinate and execute test cycles, including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.
- Identify, document, and manage test data requirements.
- Track, report, and prioritize defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field - or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years leading Workday testing efforts.
- Hands-on experience with multiple Workday modules, such as HCM, Payroll and/or Financials.
- Proven track record of leading SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Kainos, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $95,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $125,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
