Who We Are

Lunchbox is a powerhouse of enterprise solutions designed to transform the digital restaurant experience. We don’t just build tech—we craft performance tools that drive guests to restaurants and only restaurants.

We’re led by food industry insiders who genuinely care about the businesses we serve. We’ve raised the largest Series A in FoodTech ($22M) and a Series B ($50M), both led by Coatue, because we’re here to change the game.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re searching for a strategic and creative finance leader. This role is for someone who sees beyond traditional financial management and actively contributes to the company’s growth, scalability, and profitability. This role goes beyond financial oversight; it’s about driving business performance, optimizing capital strategy, and preparing Lunchbox for its next stage of expansion.

As our Vice President of Finance & Operations, you’ll be a high-impact leader who blends financial strategy with operational excellence. You’ll partner with the CEO, Founder & Executive Chairman, Board, and investors to shape our financial future, lead fundraising efforts, evaluate M&A opportunities, and ensure operational efficiency at scale.

What You'll Do - Financial Strategy, Fundraising & Growth

  • Own and execute our financial strategy, ensuring long-term growth and profitability.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and refine pricing models to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Oversee capital allocation, cash flow management, and investment strategies.
  • Lead future fundraising efforts, managing investor relations and due diligence.
  • Identify and evaluate M&A opportunities, executing strategic transactions from diligence to integration.

Operations, Leadership & Governance

  • Partner with executive leadership to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and drive sustainable growth.
  • Optimize internal financial processes, automation, and controls to create a scalable foundation.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial and operational health.
  • Implement cost optimization strategies that support, rather than hinder, growth.
  • Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting for leadership, investors, and the Board.
  • Oversee accounting policies, tax compliance, audits, and financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, legal teams, and regulatory bodies.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in high-growth environments (startup/SaaS preferred).
  • Direct experience leading fundraising efforts and managing investor relations.
  • Strong background in M&A, including deal structuring, due diligence, and post-merger integration.
  • Proven success in strategic financial planning, business operations, and revenue generation.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and capital strategy in a growth-stage company.
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, financial controls, and compliance.
  • MBA or equivalent experience preferred (top-tier school a plus).
  • Experience in investment banking, private equity, or venture-backed startups is highly desirable.

Benefits:

🌍 Remote work from anywhere in the US.

💸 Workspace stipend or device allowance.

💰 Competitive salary and equity packages.

🏥 Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, and vision).

💆 Online mental health therapy for your well-being.

🏖️ Flexible PTO from day one and parental leave.

📚 Annual professional development stipend.

🍔 Oh, and we’ll even cover the cost of your food-related tattoo!

Lunchbox’s biggest asset is our people. We cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity. If you’re a strategic finance leader who thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants to make a direct impact on the restaurant industry, we want to hear from you.
